Exploring the Big Apple

Exploring The Big Apple

Exploring the Big Apple You’re headed to the 2014 Top Global Fashion Capital of the World - New York. This time it’s all pleasure and absolutely no business!

You really haven’t had the chance to do all the touristy things until now. Your itinerary includes trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to view YSL’s infamous color-block shift dress, geocaching through the bridges and arches of Central Park, and eating those famous gyros with white sauce from the Halal Guys that everyone can’t stop talking about. Most importantly, you’re looking forward to the acclaimed performances of Fun Home and Skylight on Broadway!

In this styled flat, I’ll show you how to blend chic and comfortabilty together in order to took great while on your trip in NYC.

The Floral Dress is the perfect essential for anything spring or summer related. Every RR floral dress is never the same, ensuring a unique pattern for every dress produced. It’s made from 100% cotton and will be great for all the exploring you’ll be doing. Pair it with any summer hat and denim jacket for a completely new look.

The JW-019 Tie Front Tank is another minimal piece with just the right amount of detail. The front of the tank is made from charmeuse, a lightweight fabric woven with a satin weave. The satin gives it a lustrous and reflective finish. Pair it with your favorite pair of jeans or our flirty WP-105 Seamed Skirt made from Ponte. Ponte holds its shape because the fabric is tightly woven. It travels well, doesn’t fade, and is super comfortable!

New York can be a very fast-paced and intimidating place to visit; yet the art and culture of the city is totally worth the exploration. Don’t forget to take your camera to capture those memorable NYC moments, all while looking great in Ryan Roberts!

I’d like to hear your thoughts on these NYC inspired outfits! Let’s start a conversation on social: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. Be sure to use the hashtag #RRTravel. Happy travels!

The Perfect Summer Shifts

The Perfect Summer Shifts

The Perfect Summer Shifts
It’s vacation time! You’ve planned a trip to a beachside resort this summer. You can’t wait to spend your days with your feet in the sand, reading that book you always put off, and the sounds of waves crashing down in the background.

This is your moment of Zen.

You’ve planned your whole trip ahead of time; zip lining down to the coast, snorkeling with sea turtles, a sunset dinner cruise, getting that tan you’ve always wanted, and most importantly – relaxing at the beach. So, what should you pack? Bikini/swimwear and comfortable sandals are a must. And I’ve got the perfect Ryan Roberts shifts for you to pair them with.

The 6430 Amanda Shift makes for an easy and comfortable dress for any occasion you might have while on vacation. Need something to wear to dinner, or something to explore the nearby town? Pair this dress with cute wedge or open-toed heels, and you’re ready to go. You could even take this dress down to the beach. It’s 100% cotton and is very low maintenance, so the sand will easily come off with a swipe of the hand.

The WD-100 Sandra Tunic was inspired by resort-wear. It’s made from linen so it won’t stick to the skin. It’s ideal for humid areas and will keep you cool and fresh throughout your travels. This tunic also makes for the perfect cover-up. Wear it over your bikini after swimming or sunbathing and you’re ready to go wherever with your wavy beach hair!

I’d like to hear your thoughts on these shifts! Let’s start a conversation on social: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. Be sure to use the hashtag #RRTravel. Happy travels!

Warm-Weekend Getaway

Warm-Weekend Getaway You’re almost done with the week…and those 40-hour workweeks can take a toll on you. It’s time to plan a fun-filled weekend! So pack your weekender bag, fill up your Ryan Roberts travel set, and plan out a warm-weathered mini adventure this weekend. The Placket shirt, Anorak, and Short are made from a new technical fabric sourced directly from Italy. It’s super lightweight and you could roll and pack it up in a ball (it won’t lose it’s shape or crinkle up). If it gets dirty, you can wash it up in the hotel sink and hang it up to dry! The Anorak has quickly become a customer favorite and is just the right fabric weight for summer nights. Another weekend essential is the Long Sleeve Linen tee. The weave in linen allows for more airflow and is less likely to stick to the skin, leaving you free of moisture – perfect for those warmer days. For some added pop in color, the Darted Trouser in tangerine is a must. I fell in love with the color of this fabric and feel that it compliments lighter colors like the sand in this flat. Pick up your sunnies and summer hat, put on your favorite pair of heeled sandals and treat yourself to a mini adventure. You deserve it! Share your thoughts with me! #RRTravel
